A substantial and unique variation of a traditional Japanese shoji screen, with woven jute panels. Jute is a gorgeous natural fiber. A great choice where the white paper of traditional style shoji screens may not fit with the decor. Panel frames are crafted from durable, lightweight beautifully finished Scandinavian Spruce, using East Asian style mortise & tenon joinery. Shade is strong, tightly woven jute-blocks light and provides complete privacy.
Lacquered brass, two-way hinges mean you can bend the panels in either direction. Select from 4 fine wood finishes in 4 panel configuration only.
Each panel measures approx. 48” tall x 17 ½” wide x ¾” thick. 4 panel screen measures approx. 72” wide flat, approx. 60” wide folded to stand upright (as shown).
